When Metalcraft first announced that they were partnering with Cockermouth in an effort to support our community they invited applications for funding. We asked them to donate money for us to buy a projector to enable us to train our volunteers. We have been doing this all winter and after last week's water levels it shows just how valuable this training is. Here is a photo celebrating Metalcraft funding us and the formal presentation this week.
Things are tricky at the moment to say the least. We would encourage you to put in place any flood defences and check your non return valves are working etc. We can't fix the latter for you because we don't have the expertise.
