CERG Administrator

Location: Cockermouth
Hours: Up to 10 hours per week (12-month contract)

Pay:  Up to £16.00 per hour negotiable (self-employed)
Closing Date: Monday 11th August 2025

 

About the Role

Are you organised, proactive and passionate about supporting your local community? Cockermouth Emergency Response Group (CERG) is looking for a highly motivated Administrator to help us keep our emergency response processes and systems running smoothly.

You’ll be the key communications and coordination point for CERG’s operations, helping us stay informed, prepared, and connected. From updating emergency alerts and managing contact lists to supporting team meetings and coordinating community communications, you’ll make a real difference in how we respond to and prepare for emergencies in Cockermouth.

CERG Operations Team Member

Pay: Voluntary

About the Role

Cockermouth Emergency Response Group (CERG) are looking for community-minded, reliable, and committed Operations Team Members to help us respond quickly and effectively to local emergencies such as floods and power outages. You’ll be part of a small Operations Team, responsible to the CERG Trustees, supporting communication, logistics, and volunteer coordination during incidents and during preparations. Help make Cockermouth safer and more resilient, join us today.
