James Walker demonstrates their community spirit yet again!

Many folk both in and outside Cockermouth have contributed to our fundraising appeal which we are very grateful for. James Walker, a local firm, are well known for going the extra mile when help is needed. They saw our fundraising appeal and decided to donate all the funds raised from their Christmas Jumper day in December 2021. They have raised an amazing £130 for us - and what can we say but a massive thank you! Here's a few photos to entertain, including Brian collecting their donation.

Storm Arwen aftermath

Electricity North West have established an email address to provide a dedicated service to customers with queries relating to Storm Arwen. This is StormArwen@ENWL.co.uk - with communities for any questions relating to the storm for example compensation or damage to electrical appliances. This email address should not be used for emergencies or power cuts - these should still be phoned through to 105 to ensure they're dealt with promptly.
