Need cash for shopping?

First of all thanks to John Newbury and Helen Tucker (two of our volunteers) who have done the research for this post. We are operating a shopping system (call 07517 519377 for help) but at the moment can only deal in cash. The post office run two schemes which might help you to manage if you are running out of cash.

The first is the prepaid travel card - this will work equally well in the UK. Here's the details:

The second is where they are allowing you to nominate a trusted friend of carer to withdraw money on your behalf. Here are those details:

We hope this helps. We would stress however that we are not financial experts and there are other prepaid cards available.
