CERG needs you!

At this time, many groups are springing up wanting to help their neighbours. This is fantastic and long may it carry on.

If you follow our website or Facebook page you see the good work that we do. We are an established Emergency Response Group experienced in helping the community in times of crisis. Our emergency plan (on this website to view) covers flu pandemic such as the 'Corona' virus outbreak now. We are not just about floods. We are part of the Cumbria Resilience Forum and helping the community is why we exist.

Can I ask that you now consider signing up as a volunteer with us? Many of our volunteers that are currently with us are of an age that might have to self-isolate. With you as a volunteer means that we can make sure that the privacy of people who ask for help is protected. Any offers of support (some of which we have already received) are most gratefully received. A volunteer registration form is available on the website.
