Met Office App

The Met Office has launched its ‘WeatherReady’ campaign, in time for winter 2019/20 but also aimed at the entire year ahead.

‘WeatherReady’ is a public campaign run in partnership with Cabinet Office and providing expert advice to encourage people to prepare for severe weather.

As per previous pre-winter initiatives it’s all about individuals, families and communities planning ahead rather than what’s happening on the day.

WeatherReady web content - including weather-related advice covering the themes of health and wellbeing, travel and property - is already live at www.metoffice.gov.uk/weatherready and at www.metoffice.gov.uk/we…/warnings-and-advice/seasonal-advice .

Have a look.
